Since we were child, we had learnt from our parents that we should not talk to any stranger. But we can talk with friends and known ones only. So,when we grow up and become social, need to meet strangers as well. We can find them anywhere like in train,plane or at any public place. Whenever we go to new place for visit we want to come back with some new experience and also with a new friend. But we all faces common problem that how should we start communication or how should we act like in front of stranger. That’s the basic and common problem. Here we will have some tips to remember while meeting a stranger.

Start with confidence:



Confidence increases the possibilities of response. Remember one thing that you and the stranger both are in same situation. Don’t feel shy just go ahead for talk. First take a deep breath and say “hey”(also prepared for ignorance) with smile. Smile should be of 3 seconds.

 Make a interest:



Whatever be the topic you both are talking about. If there is no interest then he/she can stop the conversation. Nobody wants to know about your life (you are not celebrity). It would be better to deliver proper interest there. It makes the person more frank. That's the pleasant way.

 Through out the ego:



Presence of ego can be easily seen throughout the behaviour. Make sure that you are far away from your ego. Start with small talk. Try to talk about that person’s interest not only about yourself. Whether it’s talk about place, name or work you must have proper intention.

 Proper body language:



Most important thing while having conversation is”Body language”. Properly stand or sit. If both of you are standing then get straight. Make a proper distance between both of you. Don’t move your hands here and there or don’t look here and there. It seems that you're confuse or loosing interest in talking.

 Let’s fly a joke:



Humor always works. This will bright up the conversation and lead talk to more deep.You can through a joke ! but be careful with joke. It can change your track of talk. You could be funny on while talk like “I am kidding”. But make it simple and clear without any intention.

Extend the conversation:



Here ,now you can extend the conversation. Ask for views and opinions on ideas (not on the personal life issues). Try to avoid politics based topic otherwise he/she going to be bore or irritate. Find out some thing common between both of you and that would best to have long talk.

How to end conversation:



There should be great way to end up the conversation. Before saying “bye” or “see you later” it’s better to make a conclusive end on conversation.You must say ”it was nice to meet you”. Handshake should be proper, neither loose nor much tight. You can have exchange phone numbers (if another person seems interested). Now remember to say properly good bye with smile face. Though bonding take time to get stronger.
